As one year end preparations begin for a new year. The managers for the adult football teams for 2012 are as follows Junior A – TJ Collins, Junior C – Noel Crowley, U21 - Adrian O’Driscoll.

Notes 13/12/12

The Annual General Meeting  of the club was held on  Friday 9th December in the Club House. A decent attendance was given a detailed review of the years activities on and off the field. Successes to record include clubs first County Minor hurling championship as well as Rebel Og West League and championship, U16hurling championship, U16 football league and U13 football league. The main areas of discussion were the feasibility and capacity to field a second football team and the possibility of fielding an U21 hurling team. Pat Burke stepped down as chairman and is replaced by William Williamson. Pat had been at the helm of the club in undertaking the development of recent years and his vision and drive were core to the success of that work which mean the club now having facilities second to none. It is hoped his skills can be harnessed in new ways. The club officers for 2012 are as follows President - Tim O’Leary,  Vice President - Fr. Pat O’Sullivan, Chairman - William Williamson, Vice Chair - John Collins, Secretary - Donal O’Donovan, Asst Secretary - Brian O’Donovan, Under Age Sec. -  Derry O’Callaghan, Registrar -  John  Collins, Treasurer - Pat O’Callaghan, Asst Treasurer - Kay Ronan, PRO -  Michael Tobin, Insurance Off  - Dan Hourihane, Child Liaison Officer -  Breda O’Donovan, South West Board Reps Mick O’Donovan, Brian O’Donovan, John O’Sullivan, Donal O’Donovan, Co Board Rep Noel Crowley, Peadar O’Laoire. Membership €50, Student/Juvenile €20.
Club members are urged to make their views known on their choice of Club Player of the Year, Young Player(U16) and Club Person of the Year to Donal O’Donovan 086 2644445 ASAP. It has been decided to name the club player of the year trophy in memory of Jonathan O’Regan.
The November club draw  results are as follows. Winner Toni McDermott, Gallows Hill, 2nd Paul Tobin, Corran, 3rd Pat & Claire O’Mahony, Mealisheen. Consolation winners Albert Wilson, Keelinga, Karl McCarthy, Glandore, Derry O’Callaghan, Maultrahane, Ger Shanahan,, Leap.
