On Sunday morning the U16 team travelled to Church Cross to play the home team. While the team was tight for numbers they had a slight edge and after a good game were winners on the score 3-8 to 1-7.

The U13 footballers had their first outing on Monday 28th when they travelled to play Clanna Gael. After a good game the young team ran out of steam in the second half and were unlucky to lose by the odd point. The display promises well for the year.
The club has entered U14 Feile football again this year and are a host club for games on the weekend 30th June to 2nd July. All Cork clubs had the opportunity as Cork are hosts for 2011. While there is some work involved it is a good experience for the youngsters to take part in a National event. At the moment the paperwork is being sorted. Kilmacabea are in a group with Argideen Rangers, Muintir Bhaire and a visiting team.
Thanks to all who helped out with the U21 game on Sunday in the pitch.
