The minor footballers also played Clanna Gael in Leap on Sunday morning. They put in a good effort and while they were beaten on the score of 0-12 to 1-6 there was a lot of positives to be taken from the performance. There was also the important lesson that a bit of control is also critical to the well being of the whole group.
Fixtures especially for the underage section will be coming thick and fast from now on. There is now a fixtures masterplan and it is intended that games are to be played when fixed and there is very little scope for rescheduling. As this is the first year of this structure there are likely to be some difficulties to be ironed out but time will tell.
