The Cul camp was held recently and ran
off successfully thanks to the organisation by John Collins. There was an
attendance of 75 – 80. The enjoyment of the camp is due to the input of the
mentors during the week including Sinead O’Brien(Kilmeen), Dan MacEoin(Ilen
Rovers), Paudie Crowley(O’Donovan Rossa), Tommy Hayes, Marion O’Driscoll,
Bernadette O’Driscoll, Timothy Nyhan and Kevin O’Driscoll. Ciaran Sheehan of
the Cork footballers capped off the week for the youngsters. Thanks also to the
parents who helped out with sandwiches and those who did catering.
The draw for the hamper in the recent
community festival was won by Kerry Burchill and family, Rineen. Thanks to all
who supported.
Fixtures U14 football championship final
vs. Ilen Rovers in Castlehaven this Friday 24th August at 7pm.
