On Wednesday night the 10th the U16 hurlers played Argideen Rangers in the semi final of the championship in Ardfield. On a terrible wet night, the game took place with an enveloping mist and in poor light, it was a miracle that the ball could be seen. The Kilmacs had a strength advantage in most positions and in the conditions this was crucial. Without playing with any fluency the team was putting in a good effort. While the game was won convincingly the team was made work hard by a young Argideen side.
