With the shadows falling on the playing fields for
another year, it is time to reflect on the year just passed and make plans for
the new playing year of 2013. Foundations are being laid for the latter
already: next years’ Under-21 and Junior panels have commenced winter training.
As for the former, medals hard-won on the field of play are due reward for some
great displays, and are a tangible reminder of how success can be attained
through hard work, dedication and teamwork.
Our annual quiz will be held on Thursday December
27th in the Leap Inn at 8.30 p.m. On the night medals won by our
championship-winning Junior C panel will be presented, and presentations to
Player of the Year and Club Person of the Year will also be made. All are
welcome and a great night is assured.
