Notes 25/6/13

The junior footballers were back in action on Saturday evening when they took on St James in section 1 of the league in leap. Both sides lined out without a lot of regulars and the quality of the game suffered. Both sides tried their best, but a disappointing hours football ensued with the Kilmac lads running out winners on a score-line of Kilmacabea 1-15 St James 0-8. Improvement will be needed before the next round of the championship, which is scheduled for the weekend of the 20th/21st of July.

Kilmacabea GAA Club is proud to reveal that the successful festival which the club organised, with the help of every club in the community, is back for a second successive year. The Kilmacabea GAA Community Festival will take place from the 31st of July to the 5th August is sure to bring a large crowd for the bank holiday weekend to the parish for great family fun and entertainment.
