The junior A footballers continue with games in the Carbery-Beara-Carrigdhoun league in preparation for the 1st round championship game vs. St Mary’s which has now been refixed for Saturday 23rd May. On Friday 8th April they defeated Shamrocks in Ballygarvan on the score 2-12 to 0-9. They repeated that score against Diarmaid O Mathuna in Catletownkenniegh on Sunday 10th April. The minor hurlers played Skibbereen on Wednesday 6th April and while short on numbers it proved a worth while exercise to start things off. The U13 hurlers played Mizen in Goleen on Monday 11th April. After doing very well against the wind in the first half they were able to take advantage and get a hard earned and welcome victory.
