The U12 footballers played their first game under the new structure when they travelled to Rossmore on Saturday morning 16th April. With a very small group and up against a stronger team they put in a outstanding effort that was very heartening. The U12 games are to be played under the Go Games format with all players playing in a rotational system. Games will be played on Saturday mornings over the next three months alternating in blocks of three between football and hurling.
The main fixture this week is the 1st round of the Junior “A” football championship when Kilmacabea take on St. Marys in Dunmanway at 7pm on Saturday 23rd April. Support is welcome.
Other Fixtures :- U12 football v St Brogans in Leap on Saturday 16th April at 11.30am
U16 football v Kilmeen in Leap on Tuesday 26th April at 7.15pm
Minor Football v Kilbrittain in Leap on Wednesday 27th April at 7.15pm.
As these fixtures are liable to change check locally prior to travelling
