The U16 footballers were in championship action on
Sunday 23rd when they played Kilmeen in the semi-final in
Rosscarbery. This was a good game of football with little between the sides.
The Kilmacs while having enough possession were never able to convert enough
scores and unfortunately lost out in the end 2- 12 to 2-10. While it was disappointing
for those involved there is enough ability in the group to progress in the
future with the right application.
The U12 hurlers played Ilen Rovers on
Thursday 20th in Leap. After a game between two evenly matched sides
victory went to the visitors.
The U10footballers played in the monster blitz
held in Clonakilty on Saturday to further their development.
The Rebel Og/Mercy Foundation Fun walk is to take
place on this Saturday 29th September at 4.30pm and will be around
Leap village. Funds raised will be shared between the underage club and the
Mercy hospital. Everyone is asked to assemble at the GAA grounds at 4.30pm
